An exhibition at the Hornbake Library: “For Liberty, Justice, and Equality: Unions Making History in America”

The labor study collection at the Special Collections and the University Archives, University of Maryland Libraries, currently presents an exhibition at the Maryland Room Gallery in the Hornbake Library North, University of Maryland.  The exhibition, “For Liberty, Justice, and Equality: Unions Making History in America,” will be available for public between September 2017 through July 2018.

The exhibit will showcase hundreds of unique documents, photographs, artifacts and videos documenting the intersection of the labor movement and the struggle for social justice. Different sections of the exhibit will explore civil rights, gender equality, LGBTQ liberation, immigrant’s rights, religious freedom, environmental justice, economic equality and international workers’ solidarity.
